Journal of Hadith Studies (JoHS) is an academic journal published by ASILHA (Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis Indonesia). It provides a scholarly platform for research on Hadith and Hadith Sciences, bringing classical methodological traditions into dialogue with contemporary developments and questions across national and international academic communities.

The journal covers Hadith and social culture, Hadith and new media, Hadith and science, Hadith commentary, area studies, and Hadith Sciences. It also welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that connect Hadith scholarship with history, philosophy, education, law, anthropology, sociology, communication, psychology, technology, environmental studies, and other relevant fields. The contribution to the study of Hadith must remain clear and substantive.

JoHS welcomes original research articles, library-based studies, fieldwork investigations, and substantive scholarly arguments that demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and a meaningful contribution to scholarship. Manuscripts may be submitted and published in Indonesian, English, or Arabic. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and provides free reader access to its published articles.
