About the Journal

Journal of Hadith Studies (JoHS) is peer-reviewed journal of Hadith studies, dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Hadith and Hadith Sciences. The journal is published by ASILHA (Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis Indonesia). The journal uses http://jurnal.asilha.com/index.php/johs for electronic publication.

As of 8 April 2026, Journal of Hadith Studies (JoHS) has been officially accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and indexed at SINTA 4 in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA), affirming its standing as a publication of recognized academic quality and scholarly merit within the national higher education system.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

ARCHIVING
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
